Day 1

Yahoo !! 


Awake after 7 hours sleep just after 5am. Lay there trying to go back to sleep but no good. Too excited about the days proceedings and could not stop thinking about what I had to do.


So the day went like this...... (just the important bits)


6:00am

  • 1 teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar in a glass of water. This has a very strong and sour taste so get it down quick. Helps alkaline the body and aids digestion.
  • Big glass of water with fresh lime juice. Had about 750 ml and drank it over the next hour while checking emails etc.
  • Felt good, still fat but not hungry yet

7:10am
  • Breakfast!! OK enough water, time for some solids. Made a mushroom, onion, tomato omelet with coriander and pepper.  

Supplements
  • Parex - anti  parasite herbal combination
  • Milk Thistle - Liver Tonic
  • Krill - Joint and anti inflammatory
  • Revenol - Antioxidant supplement
  • Oracle - multi vitamin
  • Feroxin - mineral supplement

10:10   Snack time - Getting hungry and the water is not cutting it.
  • 1 x apple
  • 1 x banana

12:30   Lunch - Hungry now - feed me :)

           Made a boiled egg salad which contained lettuce, carrots, capsicum, onion, tomatoes, celery, baked pumpkin and some pumpkin seeds with lemon and lime dressing.



2:30 PT Session with Results Personal Training - 1 hour
  • walking lunges
  • plank and squats alternate
  • still lunges with 10 kg and side plank alternate
  • continuous squats 10 kg 
  • wall squats and squats 20 kg alternate
  • seated rows
  • stretching
Walking 30 minutes.


5:00pm Snack - Few raw almonds, brazil nut and pumpkin seeds.


7:15 pm Dinner - Cauliflower with tomato, capsicum and onion sauce with fresh parsley and chives. UUmmmmmmm not bad and plenty of it to fill the hole. :)

Water - I have drunk over 5 liters of water today and had many trips to the toilet. I think the best tip I can give you re drinking plenty is to start early. I had 1.5 liters down by 9am and 3 by midday. The other two were gone by 5pm and I have slowed right down now. Don't want to many trips through the night.


State of mind - Feel good but have had a slight headache most of the afternoon. Tired from the workout, feel better for doing it and looking for bed soon with a book that will be my sleeping pill. Heel is a bit sore but see how it is in the mornings. I will increase portions for breakfast tomorrow as I was very hungry mid morning. 

All in all don't feel too bad for day 1. Would kill for a coffee, vino or a steak but hey. Just watched biggest looser for some motivation.
